Our 18UA Grey team had a great year in New Jersey Youth Hockey League play. They finished the regular season with a 16-1-1 record and were the top seed heading into the NJYHL playoffs.

On Saturday, in game one of the playoffs, the team was down by 2 goals on 2 occasions. They battled back and defeated the Old Bridge Junior Knights by a score of 6-4 to advance to the NJYHL Championship game. In Sunday’s championship game, we played a tough Montclair Blues team and fell behind 1-0 in the first period. Again, the team rallied to win 3-2 and take Gold in front of the Aspen Ice Arena home crowd.

Congratulations to Coach Eisdorfer, Coach Quincey and the boys. The team advances to the Atlantic District tournament in two weeks.
