Congratulations to our 18UAA Team on advancing to the USA Hockey National Tournament. The team began the season going 5-0 at the Floyd Hall Summer Showdown Tournament to take home the gold. Next, we won 18 straight NJYHL regular season games to clinch the North Division title and become the top seed for the NJYHL playoffs. The boys won all three playoff games to win the NJYHL Championship. This past weekend, the team played the North Jersey Avalanche in a best of three series for the Atlantic District (AAHA) Championship. We suffered our first loss of the season on Friday night 1-0. We rallied on Saturday and defeated the Avs in double OT and won again 3-2 on Sunday in regulation. The team is now 28-1 and advances to the USA Hockey Tournament in Green Bay, Wisconsin in April 2018.

The USA Hockey National Tournament is for teams that compete at the 14UAA, 16UAA and 18UAA levels. It is extremely difficult to advance to this tournament. From a numbers standpoint, the NJYHL is comprised of 457 teams and only 3 of those teams advance to Nationals each season. We are fortunate to be sending our third team to USAH Nationals in the last 6 seasons
